We are so grateful to 1 Community 1 Team and Sarasota Ford for this honor. Our staff were particularly moved by this recognition- it means the world to know that their work makes a true difference and brings healing to children. It can be extremely discouraging as we continue to face the difficulties COVID has had on child abuse- moments such as this have a tremendous impact on morale and help remind us of the healing and positive potential that begins at CPC. We are truly thankful.

Everyone at Easterseals Happiness House is thankful for the constant 1 Community 1 Team support, encouragement and enthusiasm. Their efforts truly help the community we serve – children and adults with disabilities as well as their families – extending opportunities for our 75-year-old agency to provide therapy, education, employment and quality of life. Abilities shine even brighter thanks to 1 Community 1 Team!

Einstein credited the composition of energy too soon … energy is completely created by 1 Community 1 Team! When they enter the house, you know it! And, most important, you’re grateful for the fact that they share their love with you! This team is motivated by kindness, good will, generosity and the ever-important desire to do the right thing … and they do, every day. Southwest Florida is lucky to live in the embrace of 1 Community 1 Team.

The Haven is proud to partner with the 1 Community 1 Team. Their organization goes above and beyond to provide much needed support to local nonprofits. Thank you for all you do!

Mothers Helping Mothers was blown away by the gift of ‘Hero of the month’ by 1 Community 1 Team. The enthusiasm, generosity and energy brought along with the amazing donations collected, were only second to the care and support the team gave to helping us reach families in need. The professional, informative video they created helped us launch more community awareness by providing us an updated media tool and all at no cost. Since MHM is a 100% volunteer run charity, every penny saved is another mom helped! Diapers, baby necessities, clothing and household items were all gathered and delivered to serve the needs of our more than 100 clients a week on average who shop our free store in efforts to help the monthly budget stretch a bit farther. The team certainly helped stretch it even more! We can’t wait to have the team back again, hopefully soon.

We were chosen from many nominees by 1 Community 1 Team, Sarasota Ford’s latest commitment to give back to the local community.

They believe one is never too young to volunteer and that a strong community helps unite all of us and makes us feel part of something greater than ourselves.

This amazing group arrived at Satchel’s in a big truck loaded with donations, met volunteers who were walking and playing with dogs, visited our open cat room and played with some of our cats, asked about our hopes and dreams and took videos of everything.

We are so grateful to have been chosen and proud to now be part of their “Call to Action” team for when a person or organization in our community needs help that we can provide.

The gift that the One Community One Team gave to the Tidewell Blue Butterfly Family Grief Center changed lives!

It allowed us to create a safe place for grieving children and families to come and process their feelings in the comfort of their very own familiar space. Your team went above and beyond to make it special, and we are so so grateful!

We had the privilege of working with 1 Community 1 Team to grant a wish for a little girl named Priscilla, whose wish was to have her own pool. Through our Adopt-A-Wish program, we assign specific wishes to our donors with the goal to engage them in the wish process and allow them to see just how magical wishes are for these kids. 

 1 Community 1 Team was incredible to work with throughout the entire wish process, going above and beyond to make Priscilla’s wish reveal unbelievably special.   They truly connected with the family on a personal level and set the stage for a perfect first swim.  From turning the family’s backyard into the most amazing tropical oasis to inviting all of Priscilla’s closest friends and family, they made this day one that Priscilla and her family will never forget. The smile on her face and the joy in all our hearts that day is one for the books.

 Thank you will never be enough. As we like to say at Make-A-Wish, wishes are not just nice, they are necessary. I can say the same for 1 Community 1 Team. What they do isn’t just nice, it’s necessary. Necessary not only for the people that are directly impacted by them, but necessary for the entire community. We are so grateful for all that they do!
